\u00bfHas o\u00eddo hablar sobre el Mural de los Mutilados? Se trata de una de las obras m\u00e1ximas del artista pl\u00e1stico Oswaldo Guayasam\u00edn, el m\u00e1s importante pintor ecuatoriano del siglo XX. Guayasam\u00edn tard\u00f3 8 a\u00f1os en terminar esta obra: se compone de 6 cuadros m\u00f3viles que, al ser reordenados, dan origen a una nueva pintura. Se presume que existen m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de combinaciones posibles. \u00bfCrees ser capaz de descubrir una combinaci\u00f3n hasta ahora desconocida?<\/p>

Esta obra y otras pueden ser vistas en la Casa Museo Guayasam\u00edn, ubicada en la antigua casa del artista. Este complejo art\u00edstico te ofrecer\u00e1 la mayor colecci\u00f3n de obras de este pintor y una muestra de su colecci\u00f3n de arte personal. No hay visitante que no se conmueva ante los inmensos murales y los lienzos de Guayasam\u00edn, quien supo captar el dolor del pueblo ind\u00edgena y dotar de una ternura \u00fanica, de un color y una forma particular a la vida ecuatoriana. Adem\u00e1s, podr\u00e1s visitar el taller en el que trabaj\u00f3 el maestro, ver sus lienzos y las paletas que usaba para dar vida a sus peculiares obras.<\/p>

Dentro de este complejo se encuentra su obra mayor, \u00abLa capilla del Hombre\u00bb, un espacio so\u00f1ado por Guayasam\u00edn que invita a la reflexi\u00f3n sobre la historia de Am\u00e9rica Latina a trav\u00e9s del arte y la pintura, desde el arte precolombino hasta la modernidad.
